The dream of Scotchegg began when our founder Pete was working full time as a developer within various agencies. Noticing the same frustrations everywhere, he would see clients arrive with real problems they needed solving. And while developers had the technical insight and ideas to solve them, the message always became tangled in the middle. Sales teams, account managers and even designers would shape the project long before a developer ever saw it. By the time the technical conversation finally happened, scope had drifted and the whole thing became harder than it needed to be, or worse still, completely missed the point.

Pete realised something simple.
