CMS CONSTRUCTION EMPLOYEE AND JOB MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fully bespoke workforce, scheduling and reporting platform
This platform was built as a progressive web application supported by a Laravel backend, designed to manage every moving part of a busy construction business. From workforce scheduling and job allocation to reporting, profitability analysis and on site data collection, the system brings all operations into one place with real time visibility and control.
The core of the system is a highly engineered diary and scheduling module. Custom JavaScript powers an advanced drag and drop calendar that allows managers to allocate staff, shuffle resources and react instantly to project changes. When jobs move or updates come in, the platform intelligently assists with re scheduling to avoid clashes, maximise productivity and keep work flowing without manual rework.
To give the business a complete picture, the system integrates with external data feeds, pulling in job listings, financial information, costs and timesheets. This allows the platform to calculate job profitability, monitor performance and highlight issues before they become problems. Detailed reporting tools provide clear insight into job history, user activity, financial performance and employee targets across the business.
Alongside the main web application, we also developed a dedicated mobile experience used on site by surveyors. This acted as a PDA style tool, giving field teams the ability to inspect properties, capture photos, record notes, complete checklists and submit work directly into the backend. Everything ties seamlessly into the Laravel system so admins can track progress, review evidence and manage projects with full accountability.
The result is a single, end to end operational system built entirely to fit the company’s workflow. It reduces manual admin, improves accuracy, brings clarity to scheduling and finances, and gives teams both in the office and on site the tools they need to work efficiently.
