DMN – MiVIS Platform

DMN’s MiVIS is an end to end vehicle logistics platform that manages the full process of moving cars and commercial vehicles for DMA Logistics. It covers everything from creating jobs and planning routes to allocating drivers, completing inspections on site and capturing customer sign off. The aim was to bring all the moving parts of their operation into a single digital system that replaced paperwork and reduced delays.

The platform is built on a strong Laravel backend that handles scheduling, routing and compliance. Out in the field, drivers use MiVIS, our custom mobile app for iOS and Android. This app fully replaces paper based inspection forms with a clear digital workflow that guides drivers through each step. They can record vehicle condition, add photos, capture signatures, track location and synchronise everything back to the office the moment it is saved. This gives DMA a complete and accurate picture of every job in real time.

Back at head office, dispatchers can follow driver progress on a live map, see which jobs are completed, and review all evidence captured in the field. The system produces consistent digital reports that are easy to share with clients and easy to audit.

Raptor

MiVIS has grown into a flexible framework that can be adapted to different industries without starting from scratch. This became essential when DMN partnered with the Metropolitan Police Service. Working closely with their operational team, we extended MiVIS to create Raptor, a secure and custom version of the platform designed for inspecting and managing police vehicle movements in and out of stations and controlled facilities.

Raptor needed a much stricter level of accuracy, traceability and access control. Every action had to be logged in a way that could not be altered. Job data, inspection evidence and driver activity needed to sync reliably even in challenging conditions. We reworked parts of the architecture to meet these demands while keeping the same simple experience drivers were already familiar with.
